IPL 2010 Auction was held in Mumbai today, January 19, 2010. British auctioneer Richard Madley conducted the auction. This is the complete list list of the IPL 2010 Players who were sold, unsold and auctioned. One of the main highlights of the auction was that there were no takers for Pakistani Players. West Indies Players were the favorites and most franchisee tried to buy them. 3 Indian under – 19 Players, Ashok Menaria, Harmeet Singh and Harshal Patel were in the draft.
Ashok Menaria went to Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Harmeet went to Deccan Chargers.
Harshal went to Mumbai Indians.
Shahid Afridi, Graeme Swann, Brad Haddin remained unsold.
Shakib-ul-Hasan, Doug Bollinger, Sohail Tanvir, Kamran Akmal, Ramnaresh Sarwan, Chamara Silva, Tim Bresnan, Imran Nazir, Phillip Huges, Wavell Hinds, Lendl Simmons, Umar Akmal, Upul Thranga, and Jonathan Trott were not sold as there were no takers for them.
Kaif was sold in the 2nd round to Kings XI Punjab.
Waybe Parnell from South Africa was sold to Delhi Daredevils for $610,000.
West Indies 21 year old fast bowler Kemar Roach (base price 1,00,000) was purchased by Deccan Chargers for $7,20,000
Kieron Pollard was sold to Mumbai Indians for $75,00,00
New Zealand Shane Bond bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for $750,000
Justin Kemp retained by Chennai Kings for $100,000
Kings XI Punjab get back Yusuf Abdulla for $50,000
Tyrol Henderson remained unsold. He played for RR in the 2nd season.
Thissara Perera bought by Chennai Super Kings for $50,000
Damein Martin sold to Rajasthan Royals for $100,000
Bangalore buys Eoin Morgan for $220,000
Delhi Daredevils buy Warne Parnell for $610,000.
The IPL 2010 Venue is in India and is schedule to start from 12th March 2010.
