7 Pakistani Players have been selected for the in IPL 2010 Auction. The auction for the third edition of Indian Premier League will be held on 19th January.
51 players including Rana Naveedul Hassan, Shahid Afridi, Muhammad Aamer, Saeed Ajmal, Umer Akmal, Imran Nazir, Abdur Razzaq and Muhammad Sami would be included in the auction.
11 cricketers from Australia, 9 from South Africa, 8 from Sri Lanka, 8 from West Indies, 7 from Pakistan, 4 from New Zealand and 1 player each would be selected from Bangladesh, Canada, Holland and Zimbabwe.
Intially there were 26 Pakistan Players, out of which 19 players including Shoaib Mali, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Sami, Salman Butt and former off-spinner Saqlain Mushtaq were rejected.
The Paki cricketers had failed to meet the deadline to obtain visa and NOC to participate in IPL 2010.
